LOS ANGELES GUEST SPOT INVITATION
I’m a firm believer in the idea of making things happen rather than waiting for them to fall into place. So, I’m inviting certain artists to come tattoo with me in my private studio in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles. Whether we’ve met before, or if this is going to be our first time meeting, whether you from far away or pretty close to LA, I think that collaboration between artists is always beneficial to everyone involved and so I’d like to do my part in initiating those conversations with artists that I see have been making an impact in the community and in the industry. I believe that if we all come together, not only will it strengthen our own little community of tattoo artists that strive to push each other, but I’m sure our collective following will get a kick out of seeing collaborative efforts between multiple artists that they love. With that being said, I’d like to officially invite you to tattoo alongside me and my crew, Lost Boys DTLA.
As my guest, you’ll have your own station set up for the duration of your guest spot, with access to all necessary supplies (PPE, tattoo furniture, lights, etc). We’ll have multiple brands of black inks available, as well as a large collection of Eternal Inks pigments. Please bring your own machines, inks, and needles, however we do carry many groupings of Kwadron needles as well as certain inks, mentioned above. If you have any questions regarding supplies provided, feel free to ask.

To ensure you enjoy your time in Los Angeles, I’d love to help your open slots get booked, so I’ll be using our platform to let people know we’ll be working together for a few days, giving your page a very niche promotion with the hopes that you gain some follows from prospective clients and fellow artists alike!
The Industry standard % cut to give for guest spots is usually 30%, but I figured if I’m gonna do it my way, I don’t want to make money off of people I’m inviting. I want this to be a collaborative effort between us, and I don’t want it to be perceived as there being an ulterior motive as to why I’m inviting you. Instead of doing a %, a flat rate of $100/day for the duration of the guest spot is all we ask! We want you to have a good time out here, and we know that % cut along with the cost of stay, food, etc. is what prevents artists from taking the leap to guest spot, and guest spotting is an amazing part of this career that some artists never even get to experience! So I’d like to open up more artists to how amazing the career can be if you put yourself out there!
What I’m asking from the Artists I invite to work with me is this;
•Bring me a piece of original art to put up in the studio. It can be a print, it can be an original, it can be on canvas, it can be on wood, you get the deal! I’m not decorating the guest spot station with art of my own or art that I find. I’d like it to be exclusively decorated by the art supplied by the artists who come and guest spot with me, that way it’ll tell a story in and of itself, and that way i’ll have some cool memorabilia to show for my time spent in this career with the amazing artists I got to meet.
•Make sure to book at least one tattoo that show the best of your ability. It’s easy to knock out a bunch of them for the sake of getting as many clients tatted as possible outside of your local area, but I invited you because I enjoy your work and would love to have a piece done at the studio that exemplifies who you are as an artist. I want you to book something that will challenge you, but also something that you have a blast tattooing that we can make some dope content out of!
•Be open to having fun! We try to have fun each day and adding someone else to that mix is always a good time! We’re always down to do stuff in LA, and if you come down with family/friends, you’re more than welcome to invite them to hang out with us at the studio while you tattoo (Just no kids/pets in the actual studio while clients are present please). We’re also down to just point you in the direction of whatever it is you’re looking for if you’d like to do your own thing for a bit!
I want to spread positivity through the culture and the industry, and I just want you to have a good time visiting and working in Los Angeles.
